Hi arcadhia,

Welcome to RP! :pleased:

The best tutorial I'd found (it's a while so there may be others by now ...) to place an object on a 3D picture is here (http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorial/displace/6/) ... If you have a picture of the flag and one of the stars, this will help you positioning the stars on the flag in a very realistic way ....

Hope this helps, but don't hesitate to contact me if you still need help. :)

If I'm right in thinking you are asking about placing a flag over a picture and making it conform to a surface, then this onlilne tutorial by Russell Brown works very well. I know it says Liquify Alert, but view on and you will discover that it is about making a picture conform to a warped surface. http://www.russellbrown.com/body.html
