View Full Version : Art Tag - Solo T Paul 10-26-2004, 10:09 AM I'm kind of busy Oct and Nov, but I'd like to run a round of Art Tag, so I thought of a variation. It's not so much a "Tag" since each player will be working on their own. My idea is that I will upload a couple of images say 4, and each player downloads those images and then works at their own pace to create a image using all the pictures. Once they are done, they will resize the image to 72 dpi and 800 x 600 pixels or less and post their results.
Anyone interested? Send me a PM!!!

~T :jacko: TwinbNJ 10-28-2004, 05:12 PM All six are here ---- yes really ! rondon 10-28-2004, 08:35 PM well no hurry she said.... but if I wanted to see who did what... when... I needed to finish.... looks good TwinB T Paul 10-28-2004, 08:55 PM TwinbNJ, very nicely done! The night sky really made for a spooky graveyard; especially that skull face in the moon. So where did the hand image end up? Great work!
Rondon,
You are quite the creative one! I must admit I chuckled to see the hand holding the angel stature. Very creative choice and a well done manipulation. I love the jack-o-lantern moon and the shadow rider in the background. Very spooky! TwinbNJ 10-29-2004, 04:55 AM The hand ended up on the statue - the one she is holding up ---
rondon - two thumbs up ! I love the spooky BG and the hand holding the statue is perfect. roger_ele 10-29-2004, 09:46 AM Twinbnj and Rondon = Well Done! Love the hand holding the statue!
Here is mine, I thought I would call it 'New Moon'. Kind of a family portrait.
Roger FrannyMae 10-29-2004, 10:06 AM Here is my Nick Bantock inspired Halloween collage. It was so much fun to work on I didn't want to quit!
Love seeing all the different interpretations and can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with! rondon 10-29-2004, 01:08 PM Roger I like the serpent style you added to the hand best and Fanny mae quite a concept. T Paul 10-29-2004, 03:45 PM Roger,
Quite the eerie family portrait. Nicely done!
FrannyMae,
Love the artsy collage/montage approach! I especially like the two hands together. Excellent work! Kissed Vixen 10-29-2004, 03:51 PM Wow happy Halloween everyone.. :)
I also had to work fast.. as I was too curious to see what everyone else was doing... and I too got taken over :)
I love the results.. FrannyMae that is stunning! and I love playing find the bits :) I did find the hand .. ;)
so fun cant wait to see more
and for me.. I tried for a sorta popup effect... sorta :)
too much fun
:jacko: Spooky Fun one and All :) :jacko: T Paul 10-29-2004, 04:41 PM Kissed Vixen,
Another creative entry! I love the spooky pop-up book idea! Excellent work!
:vampire:
~T FrannyMae 10-29-2004, 05:37 PM Kissed Vixen, I won't be reading your book as a bedtime story, that's for sure! Cool idea, great execution! Kissed Vixen 10-29-2004, 05:55 PM Thank you both :)
hehhe when it comes to halloween I have always been about the spooky
and that hand... got me thinking right away ..."crush your head, I'm gonna crush your head" kids in the hall fans will know what I mean :)
and thought crush your...pumpkin .... and it all fell in place from there :)
still not sure what part the wolf plays in this terribale tale, but I am sure he is up to no good :)
K Janet Petty 10-29-2004, 09:47 PM I'm so humbled. You are all so very talented and creative. Plus, I'm not a very Halloween person.
I went for the more direct approach...Star Wars and all. Can you find the extra moons and the extra wolves. That is, there are more there than meets the eye.
Again, thanks for the inspiration and the fun. If I don't quit and go be bed soon, I too will be a zombie.
Nighty night all.
Janet
P.S. There are two hidden moons and two more wolves than the 7 going to heaven. TwinbNJ 10-30-2004, 05:28 AM Roger - Very imaginative, to have all the emliments fit in the palm of the hand - great idea.
FrannyMae - Wow, that came out so cool.
Kissed Vixen - One word - perfect !
Janet - You can never go wrong with Star Wars ! LOL clever concept, found the wolves - but only one moon.
The talent and ideas are amazing .... can't wait to see more! vidanse 10-30-2004, 08:50 AM Wow! this is fun! I'm new to this site and this is my first round of Art Tag. I love all the different versions.
I took a photo of our home and added the elements. I'm learning how to collage and montage things together and wish I had more time to do this.
I work at a local studio retouching high school seniors and to top it off I'm moving at the same time.
I'm looking forward to doing more of this type of artwork. Great job everyone. I particularly love the statue holding the statue. Clever.
Vicki vidanse 10-30-2004, 08:56 AM for some reason the attachment didn't show up. ???
another try at getting it to upload. It was too big
Vicki T Paul 10-30-2004, 10:26 AM Janet,
I like the flow of your image and the progression of sizes…they almost form a checkmark (from the hand follow the pumpkins to the skeleton then up the wolves to the angel). Nice work!
Vicki,
Welcome to RetouchPro and to Art Tag! I hope you will become a regular visitor to this site as well as an avid Art Tag player! I like your image. It would make a lovely Halloween Party invitation. All you have to do is add the info to the dark area above the house and presto chango one Spooky Halloween Invite! Nicely done!
~T :jacko: PixiePirate 10-30-2004, 10:34 PM I just started combining the images and came up with this. This was a TON of fun! I might have to do another!! Welles 10-31-2004, 11:36 AM Haw! These are great! Happy Halloween everybody! T Paul 10-31-2004, 10:40 PM This one is from DUV.... Welles 11-01-2004, 04:50 AM DUV's is my favorite so far. I laughed out loud...hard.
I also got a real kick out of Rondon's Angel-Demise and Kissed Vixen's "The Pumpkin Patch Horror." Humor got me in this Art Tag. Janet Petty 11-01-2004, 07:05 AM WTG Duv!!!! Absolutely the BEST!!! DUV,
It takes an awful lot to make me laugh - "Baby fed from youth".
That did it. :lmao: :dizzy:
Rô Thanks Guys! Everyones' were great. This was a ton of fun and thanks to T Paul for posting my effort. Everytime I tried, it looked too pixely.
Cheers
Dave rondon 11-01-2004, 10:27 AM nice work Duv... T Paul 11-01-2004, 12:59 PM PixiePirate,
Another crafty collage! Well done!
Welles,
Nice Halloween theme. The glowing jack-o-lantern fits in wonderfully and I really like all the bats!
Duv,
Love the creative advertising approach and clever use of the hand for the “fingers do the walking”. Great work! vidanse 11-01-2004, 09:11 PM Great job everyone. I particularly liked PixiePirate's version. Wants to make me take a totally different approach. Luv it!!
Live life with Passion.
Vidanse
Which means several things. In Swedish it means "Shall we dance."
To me it means "to live is to dance."
On another hand it means Vicki dances!
Vicki or Vidanse Kitacat3 11-16-2004, 03:17 PM Here is my version...sorry it is late.
