I tried this back in 1982. It looks a lot easier than it really is.

I've always liked this technique, Manju. Have you ever written a tutorial describing how you get these stroke effects? They are just outstanding. ~Danny~ jaykita 11-22-2004, 08:59 PM I've always liked this technique, Manju. Have you ever written a tutorial describing how you get these stroke effects? Manjumena 11-22-2004, 11:15 PM Thx Danny & jaykita This was done using PS and history brush and finally running one of trimoon's lighting effect (trim's lighting .atn also gives the same result somehow) But I believe you are interested more on the strokes. 1. Open the image and make a snapshot for later use of history brush. 2. Duplicate the layer {now here is the trick} 3. On the duplicate layer run blur>motion blur> Settings: Angle 90, Distance 999 will give you a nice stroke effect 4. USM and then brush strokes>spatter 5. From here possibilities are unlimited Distort>wave and fade wave in different modes.. Drybrush>and fade drybrush in different modes.. 6. Then I painted with art history brush I will try to put up a detailed tute if anyone interested Manju Janet Petty 11-23-2004, 06:24 AM Count me in. I'm ready to rock and roll. Janet |
