Where is everybody?? Out enjoying their Thanksgiving holidays no doubt. Where I come from, it was the celebration of the "festival of lights" this mth, and it will be Christmas time in the next.
In any case, A Very Happy Thanksgiving to all!

For this image i used buzz pro a lot.

Now THAT'S some color. I like what you did.

re: Where is everybody?
Digesting turkey and many are probably shopping. Big, big 3-day shopping weekend after Thanksgiving day. (Not for me, however.)

Jaykita -

Can you explain some of the steps you took to get that effect? I am also digesting turkey from yesterday and today. Also, braved a few lines shopping on the dreaded "black friday". And man, is it cold up here where I am staying (my Mom's place). Hope you all had a great holiday...

When I get home tomorrow, I will play with this one...

Hello Pat. Hope you had a wonderful family reunion. I've just returned from visiting your website at http://www.scenic-impressions.com, and i'm really zapped by your beautiful works of art. Very inspirational too. Congratulations!

Thanks for the photo Danny. Appropriate too as I'm off shortly (5.00 am) to watch the start of the Ironman Competition being held in my hometown (Busselton, Western Australia) for the first time. 850 national and international competitors will swim adjacent to our Jetty - 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycle and 42.2 km run. PHEW. Anyway....since I couldn't sleep, I had a go at this in Painter8 (my 3rd foray into this magical program!!). Played around with the impasto and cloning features for now.

Wonderful, colourful and vibrant result as always Jaykita.

Cheers

Nice pic. Our best pier was blown way in the last hurricane...

Buzz, VP watercolor, VP oil, soft focus, simple treatment.

As you can tell by my joining date, I've been around here a little while, reading and learning, but this is my first time to post an interpretation.
I did a very simple one, just ran Amphisoft Simplifier a couple of times, then High Pass and played w/ Hue/Sat and then cropped it. Now let's hope I'm doing this part right so you can see what I'm talking about :classic:
