I don't know anything about the conversion rates between US dollars and UK pounds, so I can't comment on your prices. I can, however, comment on your restoration work. And it is very well done. The faces aren't plastic. The color is good. The contrast is good. The detail is excellent. In short, you seem to have a fine handle on the subject. Good luck in your business!!!

Nice work and best wishes with your restore business.

Two criticisms really. The first is for the 3rd picture, where the girl is transposed onto a new background. The girls selection is really not good enough, it is too blurred and woolly, and she does not sit realistically into the new background. The second is with the picture of the 2 children on the wedding car. On the 2nd picture, the whites on the car bonnet and the girls dress come over as blown out on my monitor.

One last minor nitpick, which really has nothing to do with your retouch work. The page says a photo can be "fetched back to life", this is not usual english usage, and grates a little on the ear. It would surely be more usual to say a photo can be "brought back to life".

Your restorations and background replacements are great. I am less convinced by your colourisation but you only have one of those up at low res so it could be that example.

I think you are probably underpricing yourself, though, particularly for the higher-end stuff.

Also, I personally find the design of your website, with that background image, the font and everything being centred, distracting. I would also be inclined to have the photograph examples up at the top to wow people with your work, with the prices and other details below.

Also also, I wouldn't bother with the "standard resolution" examples -- it would be better, I think, to provide side-by-side before-and-afters of the restored photographs at a good resolution for displaying on screen. As it is the thumbnails on the front page are too small to really see what you've done, while the larger examples are too big to display full size on screen and you can only see either the before or the after, not the two to compare.

With the exception of nitpicking, I think the work is very good. One thing that I would do is to seperate the subject from the background in the attached image. Don't look at the poorly made selection, as it was not made for anything more than to demonstrate lighting effects. There are other, more effective ways to do this, but it gets the point across.

I agree that the whites are blown out. Also, the childrens' skin seems to have too much cyan and magenta. Although there is always some room for movement, you should start by adjusting the skin tones to equal amounts of magenta and yellow and little or no cyan. To avoid contaminating the rest of the picture you should use a skin adjustment layer.
