The biggest problem with hue and saturation is that it only works well if you are being very subtle. Try using either the channel mixer, direct channel manipulation, or selective color. Be warned that they take considerable getting used to, but the results they are capable of are more than worth the effort.

Take Care,

Michael

P.S. When you use selective color, you will be able to get more predictable results if you set it absolute rather than relative.

Try www.atncentral.com . You'll find a velvia_provia action authored by Paul Bleicher. It's adjustable. Let me know what you think.

I agree with MB, I started using Selective color and I've noticed my images started to "pop" that much more.
