Hi everyone,

My first post of artwork -- but no reason to be gentle, I'm pretty thick-skinned about this stuff, so don't hold back, let me know what you think.

This is just a doodle I've been playing around with, based on a photo of Chiaki Kuriyama (you may remember her from Kill Bill vol 1) I found somewhere or other. I've done a lot of mucking about, rubber-stamping the background plants, as well as misc subtle touch-ups here and there, topped off with FP Organic Edges. But it still needs something -- suggestions are welcome.

Craig:

Very crafty! :)

What strikes me is the (too large, IMO) patch of "brightness" near the bottom center of the image. Is there anything from the original image you could splice in gracefully?

I like how you did the facial and hair manipulation.

Thank you, Danny, a good call. I agree: the "Great White Space" needs something. I guess I can try putting some plants there. Or -- oh, hey, this may take some work, but maybe I can put a weapon in her hands? Actually, that may work . . . that or a bunny . . .
