I'm just beginning to experiment with printing some of my images, and I've had disappointing results with one image in particular: there's a green color that is going to have to be printed as a spot color, probably in some kind of dayglo ink. Has anyone had any experience doing this? I'm pretty sure I can't do this at home. I'm not sure how to talk to the printer, nor how to select dayglo ink colors. Nor to expect what this is going to cost :scared:

Dayglow inks require a spot color for 4 color process printing.

I'm assuming that you don't want just one or two prints, because this 5 color printing is expensive even for 5000 copies.

BTW.. I sell bumper stickers and these are printed with "neon" or dayglow inks. The dayglow colors fade extremely fast!! Not recommended for longevity.
