Pencil sketch using the action here (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showpost.php?p=73226&postcount=69) topped with a standard PS Copper Gradient Map masked for the background. Rô glikster 12-16-2004, 10:17 AM well, here's my attempt. Any critique is most welcome. <EDIT: I just realized, I mislabeled one layer. It was Dry Brush, not Paint Daubs.> glikster 12-16-2004, 10:38 AM I'm a big fan of the way this looks. It also acts as a great starting point to work from. Glad to see your efforts here. Keep 'em coming. FYI: If you want to add additional images to an existing post, click the Edit button and go through the Manage Attachments dialog again. I then did the wagon as IR B&W and masked the wagon to the background. The yellows kind of remind me of Colorado in the fall with the trees on the mountains. Thanks Bob DannyRaphael 12-20-2004, 05:07 PM Had to try a new toy... My copy of Xenofex 2 arrived today. I was especially interested in the mosaic filter. Options include the ability to choose tile size, grout width and grout color. A random button enables you to get different results on the same image. It's actually pretty cool...I'll be interested to see how it does on a portrait. |
