Hello all! I am new here and am completely blown away by all the great information on this forum! I have been doing restorations for old photos for about three years now. My website: www.delandra.com.

Recently I was asked to try my hand at enhancing pageant photos.

I am working on my first pageant job and I have mixed feelings about it. I hate making adorable little girls look like china dolls. But, if it's not me, it will be someone else, and I am young and about to get married and I really need the extra money. I'm going to give it a shot, and perhaps I can at least keep these girls looking as natural as their moms will possibly allow.

Here's my question: I am trying to create the long lashes that this mom wants and I'm having a lot of trouble with it. Can anyone give me any tips on how to make this look as natural as possible?

Thanks a lot!!

I would paint them in.
Zoom way in, 1px brush with low opacity, and paint away on a new layer.

Personally i would create a brush of one single eylash, you can then resize it, distort it and place it wherever you like. each lash can be treated indivually for realism.
