Yesterday i went for a nice day at Hollingworth Lake Lancashire with my boyfriend, I took a few pictures the weather and the lack of sunshine permitted.

Just a fun pic to work on. Exactly what I needed after a long day. Soothing and relaxing...let's go fishing.

And yes, for those of you who notice. I did mean to keep the leaves outside of the framed picture. :) Call it artistic license.

5:00 a.m.? No beautiy sleep for me. The fish are morning people.

Can i bring the tent and sleeping bag? Set up the fishing rods and go to sleep? No?

i used just photoshop, impressionist... i don't rem exactly now, but i think that the bottom layer was pencil sketch, top layer was conte faithful (?); i modified both to use fixed angle orientation of strokes, to keep the "horizontalness" of the photo :D
tweaked hue/sat of the top layer, and blend hardlight (?)


btw, i got my fishing rod ready, and worms are in the stand-by mode ;)

just 2 things - i think that the top most piece of film should've those "holes" on sides transparent, and also on second look it looks a bit weird that in that one the photo is in "portrait" orientation, while in the other two in "landscape" orientation...

Tis way too bad you both live on another continent. Those worms will be mighty ripe by the time you get them here to fish JC. As for me, I think I'll use cheese or corn. Worms are SO messy. :)

Con thats unusual - I think if you had made it larger, so it looks like a wall and a pothole window, and the scenery being the picture i added, as right now it looks like its in limbo,. Do you see what i mean?

Hi Legacy~Art,

I'm still intrigued with your pictures possibilities.

I used a Polar coordinates setting on a Flexify filter. Cut out the result with a circular Marquee and applied an Inner Glow and Outer Glow effect using Layer Styles.
