On some of my digital photos taken with the flash I get what some people call orbs. I'm trying to remove them with elements 3. But I'm having trouble. Does anyone know a good way to do this?

It's hard to give a specific answer, as each case usually differs slightly, and therefore what works in one case will not necessarily work in another. jkramer1951 02-10-2005, 09:03 PM Here's a picture with the orb on my wife's head. John K Gary Richardson 02-11-2005, 01:17 AM In this case, I just cloned it out, always clone on a new layer, that way if you make any mistakes you can just erase them and start again. Lastly, I created a new layer, set blend mode to colour, and sampled skin colour on the womans head and painted on her forehead to even out colour a little. Hope this helps, and welcome to Retouch Pro. If anything's not clear, or you need further help, don't hesitate to ask. jkramer1951 02-11-2005, 07:52 AM Thanks, I'm going to have to get a book for elements 3. Doug Nelson 02-11-2005, 06:02 PM You need either an exorcism (http://brumac.8k.com/orb1.html) or Agent Mulder (http://www.orbsite.com/) :) (or a lens cleaning kit) Romany 02-12-2005, 06:10 PM have a look at this, Just the pictures though. http://www.cyberspaceorbit.com/graphics/orbs1.html Cheers Chris |
