Could someone please help me fix the picture below. The hair in the face of the middle woman is causing me grief. I tried using the patch, healing and cloning tools but just made a bigger mess.

I had a quick go at your picture, painted over hair using nearby colour and then the patch tool to regain the texture, used the area on the neck just below where the hair is as the patch.

Used smudge tool to replace hair that was at the wrong angle.

Levels to brighten.

Hi, had a play with your image. I just patched and cloned onto a new layer. I always clone on a new layer, as it enables you to erase anything you're not happy with and start again. Varying the softness, size and opacity of clone tool, and varying the source gives the least noticeable results. Lastly cropped tighter to frame the family better.
