A big hello to everyone one on this GREAT Site.

This is my first post after browsing the site for about a week.

I have attached one of my first attempts at creating ART from one of my photos and would really appreciate comments of all kinds !!

The original photo ( Photoshop ) was a panorama stitched from 3 smaller images, then simplified in BUZZPro, an added canvas texture, a couple of coloured mounts ( mattes) and a wooden frame to give me an idea of how it would look if I framed it. The origanal file is BIG - almost 40Mb - so something may have been lost in getting it down below 100k. A slightly larger version is in my gallery.

Welcome to RP and to the photo art forum. You certainly have something to add. Your work is very nice. We will look forward to seeing more of it and hearing your comments as you peruse the work of others.

This place is a great place to hang out. We will enjoy having you here.

Greetings Xplorer. Your image has a very nice watercolor feel to it. Great job for a near first attempt. Hope to see more of your efforts in the future. We're all here to have fun and learn.

xplorer, if this is how you start out transforming your images to photo-art, I'm really going to want to see what you create after you get some practice! ;) I really like your image.

I visited your website -- love your photographic eye, and your images from many places around the world. You'll have a lot of material to work with to create photo-art.

Hope you find reason to hang around the forums here -- it's a good group, there's lots to learn, and as a teacher/traveler/artist -- you'll have lots to share also.

Let me add my welcome, too. You've certainly started with a lovely pic and your transformation is very well done.

I hope you'll stick around and do some additional manipulations with Buzz. On the right images, the effects can be terrific -- like this one.

Thanks to you all for such a warm welcome and encouraging comments. Time now to dip my toes into a few other forums on here ( or should that be FORA - it 's a long time since I attended my classes in Latin !!! ).
