Hi

I've got a trial of Painter 9 on my PC and having trouble getting started!!
Each time I open a new image from file it opens with a bright green background and sketch lines all over the image.

I cannot get the image to open as a normal photograph, even the colour wheel is strange green colour. I've attempted to set everything back to default without success. I desperately want to start creating work, and try out some of the tutorials.

Can anyone help me, what am I doing wrong?

Try this...

EDIT > PREFERENCES > WINDOWS…

(x) No Device Dependent Bitmaps

This setting fixed these symptoms in versions 7 and 8. Let's hope it works for IX, too.
