I recently purchased Katrin Eismann's "Restoration & Retouching" book and have looked forward to working through some of the examples within the book.

I am having problems in downloading the example files from the books website ( http://www.digitalretouch.org/ ). The 'archive' downloads are not working, I have tried several times over the last week or so but to no avail.

Does anyone know whether these downloads work or indeed do they have copies of the photos that they could pass on to me.

Well I don't have the book. But I clicked on the site and clicked on Chapter 1-5 Tutorial Images. Under Chapter 2 I clicked on ch2 crucifix.jpg. And that brought up the picture in my browser. To save the file I control clicked the image and saved it to my hard drive. I use a Mac and Safari. If you use internet explorer you can download the picture too but its been a while since I used windows. (maybe right click the picture).

I went to the site and it does appear that the archive download links are currently broken. I sent an email to Katrin. For the meantime, you may just want to download the files one by one.

Just heard back from Katrin (now that's customer service) and they are aware of the problem and trying to track it down.

Just got an email from Katrin and all files are once again available. She apologizes for the problems.
