Everyone seems a bit busy this weekend, so the Art Tag – Ace project has been delayed until some time after the 4th of July.

This art tag turned out another creative masterpiece!

One note, some players were left out of this game as they were unreachable due to a full mailbox. Make sure that you check your personal messages on the RetouchPro site and delete the files after you read them. If you have information you want to keep, copy it to Note Pad, or Word or some other program and keep a copy on your computer. This way you can make sure that you don’t miss out on messages due to a full mailbox. You can view your message folders by clicking on “User CP” on the side navigation bar under the FORUM section. Make sure to view your private messages and empty out the folders once you have read them. Depending on what options you have selected you may have numerous messages in your INBOX, SENT ITEMS, and MESSAGE TRACKING folders.

Any way, here is what we started with:

Question

I'd really like to know how the blue tile background was made.

I gather Jim Carrey is in there because of "Ace Ventura pet detective" I really is cool though and I like the square shapes and colors used. Neat!!

Talking

Blue tile started off in life as a GRID, and I'm pretty sure I got the plug-in from a link here somewhere. Selected the spaces on the grid and colorized them with hue/sat colorize to match the color in the card. While selected, did an inner bevel with eye candy 3, but I would think that the PS bevel and emboss would work as well (I don't like using it because the menu is so huge, which I mentioned elsewhere here.)
