What's Different?

Veronica (Veralisa) suggested an excellent challenge. The goal is to take a photo and subtly change 6 items in it. Then post the before and after for members to figure out what is different. The first to find all six is the winner and gets to create the next What’s Different challenge.

To get this rolling, I’ll start. Post your guesses to this thread.

OK, I hope this image comes through OK and does not kill the thread. I can always do another.

Re: What's Different?

Hmm, chillin, I really do hope there's 6 differences in there or there will be angry men outside your door with pitchforks :P

I just find 1-2 (besides the fact that the entire picture is slightly different).

Re: What's Different?

I think I found 6, but I'm not sure.

It appears that both images were modified.
Since they are not the same image but two shots of the same occasion, it makes it a bit more challenging.

But, here it goes:

light bulb above groom's head
different bracelet
different earrings
chair behind the bride
lights behind the bride
vegetation above bride's arm

Re: What's Different?

hard to tell, but does the groom have an earring?
Hard to tell since on the second pic the earlobe seems to be covered by the jacket's collar...

Re: What's Different?

Can I slip this one in?

It's difficult to actually describe the individual changes, but think in a backward "L".

Re: What's Different?

This is a take-off on an old French game called 'Jeux des Sept Erreurs' (Game of 7 errors) that used to run weekly in one of the Paris newspapers 9& elsewhere as well)

If you search on-line you'll find lots of sites that let you 'play' the game.

Thanks Frank.

Re: What's Different?

Janet, I'm stumped! All I've caught was the extended pipe shadow on the rear side of the car.

Re: What's Different?

Aaaaaargh - OK I cheated so I would not go crazy and found 5 (and maybe the 6th). The 6th if it is really there I think is "bordering " on insanity and actually partially obscured by the JPEG compression (if it is there at all). I have already submitted an image in this thread so won't reveal what I think the answers are yet had to know if Janet was pulling our leg on the number of differences in the pic. I think she just has a really good puzzle. Good job!

Re: What's Different?

To prevent cheating I would use just a pinch of a glass filter.
