My "baby" just turned 19 and is most definitely showing her age. This cat person will miss her when she is gone; and so will the bully, Fred (the orange tabby), who thinks his mission in life is to make her life miserable.

What would like be like without our beloved cats?

Janet

Really sad news Gunner. My Dad's cat is over 15 years old now. He doesn't want to go outside anymore (we have a cat door), but my boy does (he's going on 3 years now; dropped in on us one day and decided to stay. lol

Re: Do you recognize the Author of this Masterpiec

Cats are the supreme beings of Earth, as far as I'm concerned.

(Our cat Sammy, now 9 and 9kg, all muscle - he can jump 15ft to the house roof from a SITTING start! - when he was a youngster he could open turning door knobs with his paws (grip in two and twist))

A dog does things because you're the Alpha Dog, the master.
A cat does things because it wants to.

<Hey!, YOU threw the ball, YOU go get it.. If you wanted it, why did you throw it in the first place, dumb Human.. (walks away ("Talk to the butt"))>

Got a new one last year (got 4 now) a Bengal cross ??? kitten - about midnight she sneaks INTO the bed and curls up against my chest (I sleep on my side). She stays for about 2 hrs until she's toasty warms then leaves. Wonderful feeling!!

BUTT, as if that wasn't enough lord, a week later his bedroom in my office buddy, a little gal named Ocho went on to be with him also. Bloody f'ing cancer, I hope she didn't get it from me! No I know she didn't but I understand what she went thru. I made it she didn't. Pancreas, liver, fluids inside her abdominal cavity. She was born in Brooklyn and left to die on the street outside the Brooklyn library. My step-son found her and nursed her back to life. Guess he figured she only had 8 lives left so named her OCHO. She never learned to meow, only growl. We said she had a New York attitude. Totally unfair to her and New Yorkers.

I'm trying to include a small attachment with a picture of her in it.

Here is the picture of Ocho. It didn't attach to the other posting for some reason. It was a very small file size too.

It still will not load, bummer. Have I broken some cardinal rule here? Color me puzzled.
