    Super quick painting effect

Just finished viewing the tut Palms. I do have Photoshop, but, you already know I'm a GIMPer and might try to do a GIMP flow for this result later. Thanks for the link.

    under water bubbles brush ps

An important note: Because the brushes are essentially grayscale, and have no color 'built in' so to speak, these brushes are really only half the work for you. To achieve the effects shown colored bubbles, try the following:

Having a transparent layer, and use the color black, draw a bubble in it. Then in a separate layer transparent in the same place, begin using one of the default brushes to create large patches of bright colors. Be random! Red, yellow, purple, blue, green, yellow, shoot everything!

Then, when the whole area is covered with random spots in the form, use a Gaussian blur strong enough to mix the colors in a large cloud, so that no clear boundaries are visible, but the colors remain permanently separated. I think a radio in the region of 30 pixels works well.

Once done, change the style of the layer of color coat. You can experiment with different configurations, but two that work well are almost always' Burn color "and" superposition. "

This is just one way to achieve color effects more realistic to use these brushes bubble. The two large bubbles, medium shown above in my examples were created with this technique.

    flower brushes

The rounded (curved) edge of the wave hazel is best for a variety of flowers. This style works especially well for geraniums, lilies, Hydrangea, Sweet William, Phlox, Allium, Delphinium, and any other flowers that are grouped in small flowers.

Fill the area with a base color, but paint solid. Each flower is a set of 3.4 or 5 pedals pressed. Allow the brush to create the pedal by pressing on the surface. Try to maintain contact with the pedals in the middle, but it is too long and thin, if too wide apart.

To create a single flower, each set of pedals for at least two shades of color. White, combined with one of the two original colors, is used as a great light to create more of a color difference.

Start by clicking on a color of the flowers randomly around the surface of the base paint. Before the paint has dried, select a color and press randomly over the surface of fillers in the overlap and other flowers. At the end, determine whether lighter or darker colors are needed and press whatever you prefer. If the colors are very close, touching his brush in a complementary color, very light and press randomly over the solid surface to break the flowers looking for. Use a darker color or shade of relief if needed to achieve a proper effect.

Ain't it fun? Congrats on your new toy! I've been holding back for quite some time to get that Canon, because I didn't want to carry too much stuff around :-) But know that I use it, it's so much more fun and possibilities :-)

And sometimes - not very often, though - I get some nice shots. Need to practise a lot more
