The Reality of Models and their Skin

I have Photoshop Elements 12 and wanted to know if anyone knows how to retouch skin by separation (I think that is the term) anyway. Can I do that with the program that I have?

Oh gosh. That's all I can say.
Look at what the phone can do now - almost everything. I guess they are heading in that direction with cameras.
    thanks for posting.

Maybe if it were well done, but it appears to be from the scary/horrible school of retouching. My vote is for backwards

It's progress like High Fructose Corn Syrup was progress. It's impressive that it works, but that still doesn't make it right.

Sad news regarding my forthcoming book

Been there, done that. I went with Self publishing using Lulu.com. Got an ISDN number, offered hard copy and ecopy. The PDFs were more popular by far and my take of the PDF was like 90% vs. 60% or so for a dead tree. In the end, the PDF outsold dead trees about three to one. Now days I would redo it all to ePub format to support iPads and like correctly.

How about going it alone and doing a downloadable pdf book from your site? Also, if you ever do a DVD - I'm ready with my credit card!

Your work is inspirational. Thank you for sharing your methods.

Did you ever get the DVD finished? You could also do a self publish using Blurb or some other publishing house. Good luck.

Sad news regarding my forthcoming book

I think most of people here respect your work and will be more than happy to pay for downloadable PDF file - and you will be able to save a lot of money which you would spend on the printed version.
I believe the time when creative people will be able to publish their work independently is here and those "smart" people from publishing houses will be looking for new job ...

    Best Regards,

I hope things work out well for you. I must also say thank you for letting those of us who ordered the book know about the change in plans. I will be among the first to order one when a new publication date is scheduled.

For those interested in my upcoming Book

I pre-ordered this book in July. Now Amazon is saying that it will be February before it is out. Chris, it sounds as if there are some glitches. If so, my patience doesn't mind. It will be well worth the wait.
