DVD Image Example

Posted 10-06-2008 at 05:02 AM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

I have a variety of different skin colors to show that all have bad skin, but not all can be done the same way. Therefore a variety of different techniques to get these kind of results will be shown....

Thanks! and more

Posted 09-18-2008 at 06:57 AM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

I got a email from someone yesterday from a good Samaritan ( are they called that on the web?) that was very helpful to me concerning dvd distribution and duplication.

Thanks Lasse whoever and wherever you are! Great to know that there are people like you out there!

I will have a new tutorial up in the next 2 weeks or so that will also have a video companion to go along with it. They will be about the same subject/technique of course. But with luck, it will also have...

DVD info

Posted 09-08-2008 at 10:49 PM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

And as ironic as it is going to sound on this post, it has not been my intention to just lure people in an sell something. Kind of like the snake oil salesmen of yesterday. I care very much about my work and how it gets done and how it can get better. As a lot in the...

Tutorial Posted

Posted 07-07-2008 at 02:59 PM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

Hey all.

Last week one of my tutorials went live on the PIMA site.

Although I have written about the Liquify subject on the Retouchpro forum in the past, the pdf there is a more in depth and visual experience.

I will be posting new Tutorials/Tips there every 3 months, rotating with some other Photoshop Authors/Users. There are a number of very good tips there from the last 2 years or so to check out.

I will post a link here each time one...

Unfortunate Delays with DVD

Posted 06-25-2008 at 12:32 AM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

It is in the works, just horribly delayed. I am getting like 2 hours sleep a day just trying to finish retouching projects I have, not to mention retouching for the company I work for.
It will be done, and yes it is delayed, and yes I feel bad about it and should have kept my hands off the keyboard instead of announcing it. Don't forget I am doing everything on my own, including distribution and burning copies, etc.
But there will no longer be a bunch of stuff on calculations, or apply...
