Here is a different pano sequence

Posted 11-26-2007 at 06:19 AM by Frank Lopes
Some of you were looking for a different sequence to experiment with.

These 5 photos, except for having been resized to 50%, are as they came from the camera. They are however still large files: aprox 650kb+

They were shot this summer during a very rainy afternoon.

There are several things wrong with them:
the shots are not quite level, the white balance is not right in some of them and the sky, due to the weather, is depleted of any features. Also, as an experiment, I shot them from the right to the left. To make your life easier I renumbered them from the left to the right. All shots were done while hand holding the camera.

Take a crack at it and post your results. In a few days I'll post what I ended up with.

I have used the free program from Canon PhotoStich.
I had to use the warp tool to fix the perspective

Very well done!

I'm not familiar with Canon PhotoStich. Is this a commercial product that Canon released?

I used AutoStitch to make a pretty nice one. Do I have to put the image on the net somewhere, I do not see a way to upload an image to your Blog.

I also tried this program, not to bad. You can control stitch points and other settings. Free trail and only $10US to purchase.
