The next

Posted 08-20-2009 at 02:04 PM by palms

The next couple of photo's,
I especially like the first one of these the second being a bit too dark but that was a experiment Pity the clematis wasnt in better shape, but it is getting late in the season for them.

Now i don't want to give out the wrong impression here, there where plenty that went into the bin mainly due to not getting the distance right and the wind blowing

It may be a long time till i next post some as i will be trying out on humans (or cat) whichever i can get too sit for me, my money will be on the cat

Looks like you have your aperture wide open or nearly so, and the background blurred nicely to eliminate distractions and emphasize the subject. If this was done on purpose - yippee for you!

That wonderfully abstract blurry background is what will probably lure me to figure out our SLR. Good luck on getting the cat to sit still.

Yep it was done on purpose, I did go on to try different f stops so that i could compare differences but ran into a few difficulties with wind etc, but my aim is to carry on practising and experimenting before i go on to the next stage ( that is one of the hardest parts for me i do like to "run before i walk" and then get frustrated and give up ! ! ! !
and thank you for your remarks and your continuing support C.J. It helps a lot
