Why didn't anybody tell me that BuzzPro has preset

Posted Today at 01:31 PM by Nasturtium

Today I added some texture to a couple of sheep at Flickr

It's funny. Now that I've reverse engineered how to make traditional texture I'm content to use the Free ones available at Flickr.

I do miss when I first started playing with textures by using foliage, fabric and things like stained glass windows. The results unpredictable and surprising. Now I know that a few scratches, some mottles and a gradient...

New Tutorial Fixed and Posted

Posted 07-02-2009 at 07:11 PM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

The Selective Color masking tutorial that had been posted a couple of days ago has been fixed!

It is no longer a blurry bit of pixels that you couldn't read or make out differences in the masking.

If you downloaded it before and couldn't make heads or tails of it, please download again.

My apologies to all for this mixup in quality.

I do not think that it will happen again.... but who knows. It's out of my control up to a certain point....

New Tutorial Posted

Posted 06-30-2009 at 05:31 PM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

Hello everyone. As promised here is the link to my new tutorial on Creating selections with Selective Color.

During my Webinar, I briefly went over using this method to select saturated colors. The tutorial goes over that and also adds to it by showing how to use it for different tones and colors.

Textures

Posted 06-30-2009 at 04:16 AM by palms1

over the past week i have been messing around making some textures and here are a few

If you wish to use them in conjunction with the texturizer filter you will need to save them as psd's

and dont forget you can also colourize them using the hue/saturation filter for a different look

have fun
