Posted 05-01-2010 at 01:22 PM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

Here is a link that allows you to pre-order the book from the publisher. i believe that the listing is also on Amazon by now too.

The book, Mastering Beauty Retouching, won't be out till August 2010.

If you have gotten anything out of my webinars this book will take over from there with lots of more detail and more information to digest.

Concept camera/Stuff you need to know

Concept camera
As I try to teach myself how to use the SLR I keep finding myself thinking 'wouldn't it be nice' if-
  • the viewfinder was on the bottom
  • there was a tiny built-in tripod that folded out
  • that there was a slider that chose a wheel for; ISO, aperture or shutterspeed

Want to brush up on Photoshop features?

He does more than simply name the feature - he gives a quick tutorial on how to use it.

Deke McClelland's Top 40

These are features included in CS3 and CS4 - not the new Photoshop 5 being announced April 12th. Thought I could use a brush up on the "old...

Webinar on March 27th

Posted 03-19-2010 at 10:22 PM by cricket1961 (Chris Tarantino's Blog)

Hello All!

I am having my next webinar Saturday the 27th of March.

It will be on Calculations once again.

This one will be a bit more under control and hopefully will help clear up some thoughts you might be having about when to use what or about what channels isolate colors from each other.

As well as completing a silhouette in the process. One that looks as if it should be easy but is deceptively difficult.
