Commenting on Classified Ads

Let's limit replies for classified ads to asking for clarifications. If you have a comment or question for the poster, PM them. If it inspires you to a discussion topic, start a new thread in the appropriate forum. If you feel the product or service advertised isn't appropriate, report the post.

Re: Commenting on Classified Ads

If you were replying to a Help Wanted ad and it said "no phone calls, please", what do you think your chances would be of getting the job if you phoned them anyway?

So why in the world are people posting "I'm interested, please contact me" in job opening threads that specify to email or PM them?

If you want to be hired, follow the instructions people.
