www.mkibook.com) has a full time position available for a highly experienced retoucher.
This is a position for a highly advanced and skilled retoucher ONLY. Beginners and Intermediate level retouchers will not be considered for this position.
(Should have print portfolio.)
*A minimum of 5 years experience in working in a high level environment retouching fashion, beauty, celebrity portrait, and cosmetic images for Advertising and Editorial clients.
*Precise techniques to retouch skin while fully preserving skin texture and keeping it real, no blurring or airbrushing. Strong hair skills helpful. Comping abilities and skill to reshape clothes and hair without destroying the texture, are also beneficial.
*Strong color skills are a must. Ability to see and ability to correct even minute color variants essential.
*Ability to learn quickly and adjust to our specific techniques.
*Must be fully prepared to work closely with our team, often under precise direction, and to train and direct junior staff when necessary, and to work independently.
*Must be able to work quickly and efficiently, and work within a required schedule. Should also be able to spend weeks on one image when necessary.
*Must be dedicated, friendly & good natured.
