New West Village imaging boutique seeking high end retoucher with the following required qualifications:

•Demonstrated expertise in Photoshop, preferably CS or CS2
•Equivalent skill in RGB and CMYK edits
•Minimum five years experience in pre-press or related imaging field -- portfolio should contain multiple image compositing, additive and subtractive edits, and extensive flesh retouching
•Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player
•Outstanding verbal communication skills
•Organized, professional demeanor
•Wllingness to learn other related pre-press skills such as drum scanning and digital proofing

Looking for mental athletes who thrive in a creative atmosphere with challenging projects. Must be able to take constructive criticism: big talent without big ego. Position involves interaction with experienced art directors and photographers for major publications and agencies. Good overall attitude and flexibility is a must!

All applicants will be asked to participate in a Photoshop and color test. This position is full-time for on-site location. Hourly rate is comensurate with experience.
