Seeking Jewlery Retouching Also

Greetings All,

I am a photographer for a diamond company in NYC and I am in dire need of jewelry retouching. I am looking for someone that can achieve that "catalog" look from my original images.

These are some images I recently shot. Please keep in mind these are unedited and have not even been "cleaned up". If you are interested and willing to do a sample based off one of these images, please e-mail me or post here.

Re: Seeking Jewlery Retouching Also

I don't think I'm ready for the big time in jewelry retouching, but would anyone care to critique this piece?

Re: Seeking Jewlery Retouching Also

Hi,
I think this site is a great resource for picking up help in retouching and this is my first post. I am a freelance digital photographer : http://www.bernardwolf.com/jewelry.html and i do a lot of my own retouching and have learned a lot from this site.

Anyway... I shoot a lot of jewelry and here is my cleaned up version of your jewelry shot.

Hey there
Here is my take on it. Unfortunately a little too blurred around the bottom edges, but I was in a hurry
Let me know if you need anything.
Cheers

Re: Seeking Jewlery Retouching Also

I wanted to thank all of you for your time and efforts. My boss is currently at a show and says once she returns we will be selecting a retoucher.

I have to admit all of the samples look wonderful and you are all very talented individuals.

Thank you again.

Hi,

Hope I'm not too late with this!

I can provide a fast turn around and have very reasonable rates.

Neat image helped me on thins one, but most of it is sharpening with high pass (masking, of course) color corrections with selective color (And some bluring of the dark areas) I also did ome difuse glow, bluring the entire image in another layer at really low opacity, and then brough back the details masking....

I don't remember as a lot of work went into this (A lot of experimenting also)

The background has 5 layers on its own

Sorry I can give you any more especifics.

LOL at this thread....

If you want to get hired, why leave so many problems in the images? Seriously. It's a tiny file even.

Hello, how do you want end files in RGB or CMYK? It is important for me to know. Because is better if I do not convert with some mine profiles!

If that's how you feel, then please don't waste your time or mine. The images is bad, I ill admit that, but it also leaves it up to you all to show me exactly what you can do as far each of you talents are concerned.

Re: Seeking Jewlery Retouching Also

I've better things to do http://www.davidyurman.com/catalogs/cablecandy.aspx

In addition, why put my work up for review here of all places? Forgive the analogy, but it would be like having asking a bunch of 15 year olds for a driving review of a Porshe.

Your retouching is very nicely done but I'm confused as to why you're spending time trolling this forum if you're so busy?
