| | | Re: Photographers - you gotta love 'em printers are doing the same thing these days, they want you to know all the CS3 apps related to printing, you have to know how to color correct, trap, make plates, page assembly, preflight, MS word, excel, and a bachelors degree would be nice as well and you have to have prior experience so you can make 30k a year... |

As much as I hate to admit, this ad is still better than all the ads I've read in L.A. None of them offers more than $12 here. I came across this one ad that required the retoucher to have extensive experience in PHP programming while paying $10 per hour. Ads like that irritate me more than dealing with traffic in L.A.
On the other note, pixartindia is the perfect example of some posters here that don't bother to read or read the posts in their entirety before replying. |

i live in NY and Craigslist is teh WORST! there are some many postings looking for extremely underpriced retouching for superior work, or they just blatently want retoucher to be labeled as a photo assistant, or an intern. Dont get me wrong, retouching is still an art and there have always been apprentices, but COME ON! |

Sorry, we weren't so much laughing at you, but at the timing of your offer, and the apparent confirmation of Benny's opening comments.
If my comments have caused you any distress and embarrassment, I do apologise. |
