Re: Retoucher required for overflow work

Sorry I have not been around.......

How many of you can produce certificated Proofs using Fogra 39L to output your work?
Also how many of you can drum scan?

If you the facilities, I have the work for you.

Re: Retoucher required for overflow work

I'm hoping some of the 'winning" images can be posted. Before/after if possible.

Studying high end fashion magazines like Genlux, you can see the outstanding large photos of models with perfect retouching. The kind that very few of us can do yet, as many of us are struggling along that maybe trying to reach that level.

So curious what some of the images are looking like.

Re: Retoucher required for overflow work

First of all:
I do not own a drum scanner nor do I have my own proofing system myself.I give this part to an external company and they use Hasselblad/Imacon Flextight or drumscan and GMG Proofing systems. These are the best that I know of.
The ICC profile ISOcoated_v2_eci.icc is built on top of the Fogra 39L data set. Briefly characterization data comprise the relationship between CMYK tone value patches and the corresponding CIELAB colour values for a given printing condition. The extension “L” to be found in the file name, such as FOGRA39L, stands for the extended data set comprising 1617 patches defined in ISO 12642-2, while no “L” reflects the valid subset of ISO 12642-2 comprising 1485 patches. The latter one is widely know as “ECI2002 test chart” used e.g. in the Altona Test Suite.
The ISOcoated_v2_eci.icc Colour Profile is the one that replaced the ISOcoated_eci.icc and is the standard profile for offset printing on coated paper in Germany and as i think in most parts of Europe.
It is the workspace in which all my proofing is done.

Best regards,
