Sorry!!!!! seems to be another "hit and run." Need to make sure there is some sort of history when buying from someone like this. Lots of unscrupulous people just waiting for the right opportunity to take advantage of people.
Hope others learn from this. At least it was only $15 not $15000. I know that doesn't help people taken by this person. What a slime ball.
Regards

Yep...no notification...just disappears. I should have trusted my original instincts...and to think he originally wanted $100.

Re: Last chance at $15.00

Your welcome Janet Seems his web-hosting and web design company mjmdigital.com has vanished off the face of the internet too (all 6 other domains hosted have gone too ). That service also had $99 prices with special offers on hosting.
It could be that he has gone bust, or folded the company after taking a few $$$

You can also contact him via MSN or hotmail at mjmdigital@hotmail.com

Re: Last chance at $15.00

I googled the address given. It is a service (gas) station. I didn't sign up for anything this scam artist offered but the fact that he duped others ticks me off. I hope he learns a lesson that sticks with him for the rest of his life and that he comes out of the mess he gets himself into a better person. Good luck to those who were taken in by this thief.

Janet

I'd be afraid to give Paypal or Credit Card information on that site.

Re: Last chance at $15.00

well... Scamming is quite easy in these days... Justy open a freelance website with cool thingies in it (like stats and such), charge a montlhy fee of 5 dollars and you will get, with some lucky and scam techniques that I dn't know, lot of sold memberships. I just paid 60 dollars in iFreelance.com for a 6 months gold membership and I realized that from 376 projects only in Design, Logos, multimedia and the like, none of the projects have passed to the bidding process. Nobody won. Well, yeah, iFreelance earns around 19.000,00 dollars per month just from 1 type of job (the ones I mentioned). How I know that? I'm very curious. I revised project per project and I summed all the members in that category. It's pretty easy, just sum the number of members and multiply that number by the montlhy fee and you get the result.

Scam is everywhere, even in websites of freelancing, so be aware.

Re: Last chance at $15.00

I did when the site first disappeared...nothing. For those of us who paid and saw the site there were very few backgrounds. I was hoping the site would grow and offer more. Never did. I did get into the site today..same site..same backgrounds...nothing new.

Re: Last chance at $15.00

There was a guy who did 1 million of dollars in just a few minutes. He published a porn website around the year '99 and the subscription was just 1 dollar for high quality porn (he didn't specified how many, so he was right and people just fooled). 1 million of persons put the 1 dollar coin into the machine and then, just a few pictures, but a guy running with 1 million of dollars... Pretty smart and legal, we could say.
