Retouch Artists Needed

We are an image editing company dealing mainly with wedding photos. As of lately there has been a sizable increase in our workload and we are seeking freelance retouch artists to work on images for us remotely.

The pay is more or less volume based. You are paid per project. At first it may seem like a small amount, but it adds up with the more that you complete. On average you could earn an extra $200 every month. It could be more and it could be less depending on how much or how little you do. It's not a ton of money, but it's better than doing free work in exchange for portfolio pieces.

Ideally we are looking for retouch artists who are somewhat skilled with composite work, color correction, cloning, lighting, and smoothing skin. Please have examples in your portfolio of work that you have done on images of people. I am expecting that I might have a large amount of replies so if you do not hear from me then it means that you were not selected. I will only be replying to artists that I feel are capable of doing the kind of work that we receive. Thank you.

I totally understand where you are coming from but even wedding photos need to be retouched no matter how many they are. Everyone wants to put really good work out there. The better the work the more work there will be. Retouching a wedding is not like retouching a single portrait. The main thing you are doing with wedding photos is making sure the density and color are consistent throughout the whole event. You don't have to go in and retouch each photo to perfection many times cropping, dodge and burn a few of them change some to black and white some to sepia to give some variety. All of this really doesn't take a long time and they make a world of difference in the overall look of the wedding. Also if you are use to doing them it really doesn't take that long. Most of the time you can narrow down the photos to around 1000 to 1200 photos, retouching these at .65 per photo will earn you 650-780 dollars per wedding. Do about 3 of these a week on top of your regular retouching jobs will earn you an additional 1950-2340 a week which isn't bad and all it cost you was time.
