Real Estate / Architectual Retouching Needed

Hey Everybody!

I shoot homes in Los Angeles, California.

You can see my work at www.lahomephotography.com.

Right now, I do all my own retouching, but this year is starting out great and I keep getting busier. I may be getting to the point where having some help with retouching would be beneficial.

It would be great to have a few people that I could call on when needed.

If you're interested, you should be familiar with HDR. I use TuFuse Pro, EnfuseGUI, Photoshop CS3, and sometimes Photomatrix -- not all at the same time of course.

Whatever your weapon of choice it is fine with me as long as you can deliver final images that are well balanced and look great. They should not have that "dirty wall" look that a lot of HDR images have.

To get an idea of what you'd be working with, here are some bracketed images from a house I shot earlier this weekend.

Hi I have been into HDRi for a couple of years, but now, from time to time I try some of that. I see what do you need with HDRi and I think I can handle it. I will need to know the deadlines and the amount of material to be processed.

In this link you will find some photos I have taken myself and merged into HDRi: http://picasaweb.google.es/Quantum3S...aArchitecture#

By the way, your photos looks amazing!!! Really nice ones!!!

Cheers,

Mart

Re: Real Estate / Architectual Retouching Needed

lmao... oh i can only imagine.
just last week i was asked to bid on a project by a gwc photographer. i replied i don't bid it hurts the industry but this is my hourly. it was my average rate. just than, a girl from the (****) < won't name the country, who looks as if she does her work with a saws-all and a rusty knife, says she would do the job for 15 a day. there were 30 images. Thats ¢50 an image USD. Oh I am still laughing about that one.... albeit a nervous laugh.
Oh the times they are a changin'!

You can use LiveBooks but they are really expensive. I use SoloModels. Great price. Great service. Change your color scheme, add you own music. They have a lot of options. Use this link if you are going to sign up http://www.solomodels.com/?referrer=19769. Use my code 19769 when they ask who referred you.

Basically I'll need around 20 to 25 images per house. The source images will more than likely be like I have shown above -- three shot bracketed photos at -2, 0, +2.

Yeah, I could have gone to Craigslist but I thought I'd start here.

Re: Real Estate / Architectual Retouching Needed

For those that are interested, I would love to see what you can do with the Living Room images (http://www.lahomephotography.com/livingroom_1_jpeg.zip or http://www.lahomephotography.com/livingroom_1_cr2.zip). I'm looking for a realistic well balanced final shot with a fire added to the fireplace.

I never got this image to where I liked it in post, so it would be interesting to see another take.

Thanks!

Gregory

Re: Real Estate / Architectual Retouching Needed

Hi Gregory Storm,

The modifications have been done and the fire has been added in the image.
The image i´m sending is in low resolution because max. file size is 100 kb for attachments, if you can send me your email i will send you the image in high res.
Regards
I.D.
Let me know any comments.
