Thanks for all the feedback, I ended up using vectors in photoshop but just traced that last example I posted, so I might as well just buy the original.

I think the question's been answered though, it's possible to fake it but the perspective of the 'original' seems mathematically correct and without a guide I know mine would have been 'out'.

I had a read through all those links janet so thanks for taking the time to collate them all.
