POV Sphere

Found a cool Photoshop plugin from the Amphisoft (maker of Xylograph filter). This plugin actually outputs pov files so you need POVRay to get visual output. Up to you to figure out the parameters though; I just went through the school of hard knocks (not a 3D guy) and not in the mood to share (i.e., it took me over 30 minutes to find out how to both set the default output settings to PNG and also to save transparent background; lol).

Click following for the complete rendition (over 7MBytes); attached is a crop.

Re: POV Sphere

Went ahead and rendered Wilber too. Lots of lessons learned from my marbles days used for this one since I'm still not a 3D guy but the packing was done using this cool PS plugin and POVRay.

Re: POV Sphere

Just a follow up; started a thread of this cool plugin here and Kevin created a cool Script-fu that put it on steroids. Thought I would should just one possibility using his cool Script-fu (scroll to the last few pages; he updated the script-fu several times which he kept adding features). Attached a small version but click second linke below for highrez.
