That weird formation on the baby's right side of her neck kept bothering me too almost from the start.
Until, watching the image for the umpteenth time, I thought that what could be is the back part of her dress showing behind her shoulder just like it shows on her left side, so I cloned part of her dress and reconstructed what I thought should be showing and that is what I changed on my last editing in my post.
I also agree with Lorraine that it is not a pancake, but could also be a fold in the sheepskin.

Sorry Lorraine attributed your phrase to someone else.

I don't see anything of the baby in that area, even with the closeup

Marthig, thank you for putting up the gallery this month. That's a lot of work, and I appreciate your efforts to make things easier for us.

Also, I really liked your final version of the restore. I wish I could have voted for at least 10 entries this month.

Lorraine

Loverly,

Just wanted to let you know that I've been trying to redo my entry incorporating what I thought was the shoulder line, and it's not working. LOL!!! Even though I'm only trying to expand the shoulder by a few pixels, I can't get it to look natural. The cutout neck looks much better.

Thanks Lorraine

Always nice and appreciative.!

BTW I fixed my post above attributing the "pancake" phrase to Loverly when it was yours. Just noticed it this morning

Regards - Martha

well I am finding the voting a real dilemma, I am caught between colours, realistic image and then there is that foot, the damned foot. I acknowledge the effort spent in the angle and most angles look quite natural, but then there is the calf area which in many cases looks insufficient, damn, so hard, so many great entries with such small details to pick upon. Sorry guys for those who opted to crop the foot, you just don't make it with me, apologies

Well yes I saw your post, but I was referring to another one by Lorraine where she ended it saying she definitely did not think it was a pancake

Suggestion....

A suggestion for T Paul.

Each contest has three threads which complement each other.....Contest / Discussion / Votes.

To make life (even) easier (for us lazy sods), you could include in the first post of each a link to the other two.
