April 08 – Magazine Cover

RetouchPRO will be relasing a monthly printed magazine.
The cover of the magazine will show-case the work of one of the site's members.

RULES:

1. Contest will run from 1 April to 24 April 2008. Deadline for entries is 5pm EST.

2. I will not answer questions concerning the rules. Interpretation of the rules is as important as execution.

3. When you submit your entry put your username and date in the filename (ie: byro_apr08.jpg). This is so users can save the images to a local directory and remember who did what--important when it comes time to vote.

4. Post your entries to this thread. Links will not be accepted. Please restrict your comments, questions or discussion to the Apr 08 Contest Discussion thread. Inappropriately placed posts will be deleted.

5. Only one entry per person. You can change your entry up to the deadline.

6. Voting will run from 25 April to 30 April 2008 . Only those with entries may vote.

7. Voting:

* Submit the 5 best entries (by artist name) in order, starting with your favorite.
* You cannot vote for your own image.
* Once you have voted, you cannot change your votes.

8. Tasks:

*Turn the image into a cover appropriate for a fashion / glamour / art magazine.
*Final image must be exactly 600 pixels wide and 800 pixels high.
*The cover must contain the name "RetouchPRO" as the magazine's title.
*Do not add any other text
*You may add any other items you wish, however the principal subject must be the download image.
*Any item added to the photo must be copyright free.
*Amaze us with you skills.
*Have fun.

Finally, please remember that this is a friendly contest and suppose to be a learning experience. Tips and suggestions to help others are highly encouraged. Also please don’t limit your comments to just the top 5 when you vote. Most members are eager for feedback about their images, so remember to help each other out.
