Lonk - LOL. anyway, good idea about the colorization match, I'll give that a try.

Craig - for what it's worth it was painful for me too having to pass by some great colorizations based on my different interpretation. i almost didn't vote due to my struggle then, after sleeping on it, i got a good laugh at myself! i figured Lonk and some others know they did a great job and understand how these contests go. mostly, here i was stressing about my vote choice when so many of the world are struggling mother nature for their lives!! yeeks

BTW, though you wrote "too damn good" (which was initially confusing), I never had any objection with how you voted (or anyone else for that matter). I know it's impossible to please everyone.

I appreciate the words of encouragement. I have really enjoyed the challenges I have encountered at this site. I found this site while researching techniques to restore old family photos and the members here have been very supportive. The June Contest was especially fun since the photograph was so nice to start with and so many did such an incredible job on it.
