I guess I'll be the first one to vote. Since there were so few that entered, picking the top five was especially difficult. I admit to joining this contest only for the privilege of voting. So, here goes:

1. LonK - Obviously!
2. Joeven - Love the theme and the execution.
3. OlBaldy - Ditto. The only thing that bothered me was the size of the eyes.
4. K GiMiNi M - Great work.
5. Usurpator - 100% your own work and a marvelous job.

Congratulations to the winner, whomever that may be. And Kudos to those of us brave enough to enter. We all did well.

I agree with Janet, voting was challenging. Everyone made a great effort. I wish I could vote for all the entries, but...

1 - CathyH. Very creative surrealistic composite. I would like to see more attention to small details. Also, blurring the background a bit could be very effective, adding mystery and drawing the eye to the character.
2 - joeven. Again, an interesting composite. IMHO, a bit dark and the texture detracts; the bright spot on the right draws all attention.
3 - 0lBaldy. Fidel with Miami ink?
4 - Kraellin. If looks could kill?
5 - JanetPetty. "That was one heck of a party last night!"

well, i said it from the top, lonk's just rules! so,

1. Lonk - just professionally done in all respects.
2. K Gimini M - something about this one just convinced me of the hero/villain theme. the trouble was, i couldnt figure out which he was
3. Janet Petty - nice ghoulish/vampire/zombie whatever the heck he/it was/is
4. Ol Baldy - creepy. shades of dr. moreau (or whoever that was).
5. CathyH - i think i would have liked this better without the electricity. the setting was creepy enough.

a last mention to the pirate entry. i liked it, but it was such a shades of Pirates of the Caribean, that i left it out. nicely done, though.
