Good Job Everyone!!
Lots of different interpretations of the same thing!

1. Blaskica.. To me this picture stood out from all the rest as the most complete and harmonious picture.. I like it a lot!

The differences between 2 through 5 were minimal ..all were sharp, blended well with good color.. The only differences possibly being brightness.. from a little dark (which I preferred) to the lightest

2. Marivon.. Nice blending, attention to detail and sharpness

4. FrankLopes.. Nice blending, attention to detail and sharpness

I'm disappointed mine was disqualified. I uploaded the image at 600x800 @72 ppi but it appears to have changed upon upload to 599x799... very odd.

Almost took as long to judge as it did to produce the artwork!

my top 5 are as follows

1: K_Gimini_M - lovely piece of work with a soft feel
2: OlBaldy - almost a bit too clean and the eyes are too green
3: Blaskica - great colouring, and looks natural but a bit too dark and, and some hairs are blue and the skin is abit noisey esp around the jaw bone.
4: Marivon - quite natural feel to the image but again eyes too green and a skin is a bit pastey
5: PeterS - nicely coloured, just the hair looks like she has bald spots and skin in between the beads is still grey.

I must mention Lusant for a great entry which was sadly spoilt by a distorted sizing. Would have been good contender. good luck next time.

Here's my favorites:

1. lusant - Despite the odd proportions the coloring is very precise and the colors are perfect. The lips and the eyes look so real.

2. blaskica - Excellent job. The look of the photo is very pleasing.

3. K_GiMiNi_M - The eyes are so captivating.

4. Cathy_H - The background leaks into the face but other than that - very precise job and nice blending. I like the hair.

5. dkcoats - I like the whole look of the photo.
