As usual this was really hard to pick the best. They are all really well done.

1. Lorraine---just the best overall interpretation without going too cartoony
2. Aartist ---simple changes kept it very real

4. Cathy --- I love the way the house is placed in the setting- and the snowy sidewalk--

1. aartist - this really knocked my socks off, being first, and I saw how high the bar was set.

2. lorraine - the epitome of neatness and precision.

3. swarbees - Original point of view.

4. Ruzzez -Shadows, frosting & reconstruction... all perfect.

5. CathyH - too good to eat, piped frosting is extremely realistic.

Each entry had such imaginative ideas and good execution.


CathyH -- The icing and decorations look very real. The cropped left side of the house was finished off to perfection. The smoke from the chimney is realistic.

aartist – Simplistic and well done. Good imagination in reconstructing the side of the house and yard. It fits the photo very well.

Ruzzez – Great looking icing. Good job in finishing the cropped-out side of the house.

Veralisa – Great work in placing all of the decorations. Everything has good perspective in relation to the house.

Swarbees – Nice interpretation and good work on all of the decorating.

Veralisa's entry stood out for me as a clear winner.
Lots of chocolate and great colors!

Liked all of the entries very much but the rules
require a sequential judgement.

1. Veralisa - Candy Confection Perfection.
2. Lorraine - Wafer stairs & shutters, oh my!
3. ruzzez - Really liked the background alot.
4. CathyH - Loved the candy canes.
5. swarbees -Peanut Brittle Roof was sweet.
