I enjoyed the photo choice, particularly the lace, it gives a nice challenge as how to color it without making it look flat and monochromatic. The same holds true for the face and hair. If their were any problems with some of the submitted entries, it was the colors used for the face and hair, if they are to close the figure ends looking flat and monochromatic. But then again that's the challenge.

I spent ages trying to make the fabric-y scarf thing around her neck look transparent and decided it should just be white. After rereading the rules before posting I realized I'd wasted ages doing the wrong thing - lol. Anyway I posted my "goof up" on Flickr because I was quite pleased with it. And when someone asked how I did it I looked up some tutorials linked from here.

Enjoyed this contest a lot!
When I was looking the entries over, noticed some with wrong pixel dimension cropping.
