Hi all

hi to all of you
please bear with me as this is the first time i have submitted any of my work here, I have been loitering for a while trying to take everything in ( i found learning a bit at a time the better way to go ) and hopefully i have got it right pleeease put me right if i haven't

the picture (hopefully attached) is one i done following trimoons watercolour tut with a couple of differences. this also is my first attempt at this type of work.
but i am finding it hard to sort my time out between taking photo's, trying new ideas out or reading the posts here.

thanks for listening and looking

Hi palms1,

Great job with your first submission. I hope to see many more.

Let me begin by saying I love the subject of your work and your colors are great. Its a very good piece, your water color painting is very convincing, the image has strong structure and a very good texture. I also think you did a fine job on your "matting and framing".

You may want to add a hint of the closeline back into the pic as it almost seems as though the laundry is floating in air. The left-hand side appears to be a bit blurry or shadowy and loses a bit of definition. Of course this is just my humble opinion and an expert I am not.

thanks cardmnal

Thank you for your kind words
It wasnt till i posted the picture that i noticed the blurriness, and i hadnt noticed that the line was missing! although not sure i would of put it in, it adds a bit of quirkyness i think
so i think maybe you should have a bit more faith in your humble opinion
and once again thanks
