More Colorizing

Hi,

Spurred on by Ken Rogers post, I thought I'd have a go at one my old family pictures. This is my first serious attempt at colorizing and is of my mother and her parents.

I split out all the important parts, dresses, jacket, tie, shirt, skin and hair into separate color layers. From here I played around with the opacity settings to get the color right.

What do you think of the skin color, and should I do the eyes ?

Steve

I like your work. What colors did you apply to the skin? One color?

Hi Ken,

I used a Photowiz filter to turn the skin into sepia, I read on a post than this gets good initial results, then added a color layer R124 G0 B0 (From Bruce's Skin Color List) to boost the sepia shade.
