Thanks for the nice comment. I used the clone tool to touch up blemishes, get rid of eyebrow hair ect. Whitened theeth and eys with hue/sat, and then used a layer in color mode to add color to the lips, I also used a number of adjustment layers; basically two curves; one to lighten and one to darken and sometimes a soft light layer filled with 50% gray. There is a discussion about this method by Hyrad (or Conrad Digital can't remember) here at RP. I also sharpened selectively. Good luck, you're doing a good job

Smile deviant art

Hi Natalia,

Just seen your images at deviant art. You are very good at conceptualizing creative retouch! i liked you funny dessert, the bug and the strawberry very much! I just think the bug needed a bit more of ambientation - it doesnt have the same light as the background picture, but overall is a very good idea!!

I see you have a good start at fashion and product retouch. I don't know for how long you've been doing it, but you have the eye for it, for sure. I see very little detail on your images that need a bit of fine tunning. Don't worry, it all comes with experience and good reference.

Keep up the good work!

Because I didn't change the background or the lightning. That's why they say "You just believe in a shot but the crop has to be believable
