Aside from the compression artifacts, you did get rid of the magenta in the face seamlessly. Not sure if the artifacts are from the digital camera or jpeg compression for uploading but the left side of the cheek is smooth while the right shows texture.

One thing to keep in mind about smoothing skin is to not over do it because our eyes pick up on the contrast between natural textures and the smoothness exaggerating the effect. But the artifacts make it hard to distinguish between skin texture and jpeg compression sometimes.

Other than that's a great looking kid you got there.

The compression has some to do with it, however I cannot blame it completely.

I used hue/saturation to get rid of the kids sunburn, but the left side gave me some trouble.

I was not sure if I should smooth that side out or what.

any ideas?
