My Sister

This picture of my sister was taken by a profetional photographer.
I retouched and croped the image.
Her nose looked way bigger in the image (It's actually not that big) so I made it smaller.
The skin was done with the doge and burn tecnique.

Let me know.

Feel free to use the image

lovely young woman. great, interesting eyes.

several points here. the original looks like it was taken with a digital but at a lower resolution than it shld have been. thus, the skin pores look overly large. you did a decent job there of fixing that.

but why did you lighten so much? that seemed unwarranted.

as for the nose, i'll take your word on that one

i think i'd have also removed the hair over her right eye. the left is fine, but the right looks out of place.

great hat. i'd have been tempted to leave that in but that's just a personal choice.

Very nice retouch IMHO! I specialy like the way you cropped it...much better that way!

As for the nose, that's what you get when you shoot a portrait while standing too close to the subject. The nose ends up closer to the camera than the rest of the face, result: big nose! Standing 10 to 15 feet away from the subject and using a telephoto lens will solve that problem (taking away the need to retouch an important facial feature!).
