Another one for my portfolio

I Promise, once I'm finished with it, I wont bother you anymore

There is some adult content in this one, so I'll just put a link for it

The mouth looks weird and the face looks kinda unnatural.

I think there is something odd on the hair to, but I cant point it out.

other than that it looks very good ....and she's hot!

========

Hi again, I just checked the original that I haven't seen before.

I think that you portfolio is coming nicely.

What I don get is why are you retouching already retouched pictures or pics that does not need retouching.

That model is not "perfect" but if you try to work on something that is quite ok you are pretty close to overdo it, sort of an overkill.

If your portfolio is for demonstrating you skills, then try and consider to present some serious (or impossible) changes so people could really appreciate it.

cheers

My first impression was that the mouth looked a bit off-centre (to her left) - the nose doesn't seem to line up with the filtrum. I can see that the position is correct with relation to the original, but I think that enlarging the top lip has exaggerated it.

The skin is a bit too "perfect", I think - it looks like a bit like an airbrushed Playboy model (or so I understand - I wouldn't know, of course). I'd like to see some of the texture of the forehead in the original show up.

The sclera of the left eye seems a bit grey to me - the contrast compared to the right eye seems to have increased, possibly because you've lost that hair shadow across it.

A minor glitch - there's a discontinuity in the horizontal strand of hair across her right shoulder.

Mind you, I wouldn't be able to get anywhere near that sort of quality, so who am I to criticise?

lips are way to oversharpened.....and i wouldn't use a portfolio piece that has someone elses © plastered all over the image.

First time poppin in my eye was the girls face boosted with color and contrast and that boring old shirt. The lips were a bit bright and the hair lacked a bit of contrast at the bottom.

Besides that it's cool

Face looks too flat

The original image looks like it was heavily retouched to begin with, the skin was so smooth that it was very flat. I tried to add some contour to her face, no shrpening or anything else. Also added a layer filled with black>Multiply>30% Opacity, and masked away the highlights on her hair and t-shirt to give it a little more pop.

I also like the paler version of the skin tone that Patrick did.

hope this helps at all!

Actually

The idea of the retouch was to make her moody almost "BAD ass" looking
and comic like.

The original is unretouhed actually. Or so he says (Zonerie)

If the shot is meant tolook badass, then i like your version better...the sharper and more intense look suits it better! Maybe just ease up just a little on the lips, and also the white in her left eye should be a little more white since you removed most of the shadow that was laying on her face.
